FORTHCOMING EVENT FOR EMPLOYERS IN THE CITY
“Managing Mental Health at Work”

Venue: City Marketing Suite – 80 Basinghall Street, EC2, City of London
Topic: The focus of the afternoon is to inform and facilitate a discussion around practical tools for managing mental health in the work place, reduction of sickness absence, retention of staff and to create a space for employers to network and share best practice.
Plan for the day:
3pm Registration and Refreshments
3.15pm Introduction from City and Hackney Mind – background to mental health and employment
3.30pm Speaker (from international City law firm Ashurst) – Employer’s legal duty regarding mental health
3.50pm Workshop - practicalities of managing mental health in the workplace utilizing case studies
4.15pm Introduction of City and Hackney Mind’s employer related services including FREE, practical training for employers in “Managing Mental Health at Work”
4.30pm Panel Discussion - put your specific questions on Mental health in the workplace to our expert panel including representatives from legal, business, City and Hackney Mind & the voluntary sector and Jonathon Naess
5pm Opportunity to network with panel members, employment law specialists from Ashurst, representatives from City and Hackney Mind and each other! – wine and soft drinks provided
6.30pm Close
