Drop In Day Service - I.R.I.E Mind

Who are we?  

I.R.I.E Mind (formerly known as the Homerton Friends Lodge) is a friendly, multi-cultural drop-in centre, which aims to provide support to those who find other services hard to work with. We have been open since 1992, and continue to be open every day of the year.

What do we do?

We provide a range of social and recreational activities, in response to users needs, including discussion groups, outings, videos, pool and table tennis.

We provide a hot meal on a daily basis, served at 2pm, and costing only £1.50. We also offer laundry and shower facilities.

We have regular service user meetings to ensure that we continue to offer the best service can.

We aim to provide, or arrange a number of specialist support groups, that promote positive well being, including a Hearing Voices Group which will be developed in the near future.

In addition we offer a range of information and advice on

• Benefits
• Medication ... and much more

Where we can't help directly, we will help people to access others who can.

How do you get a place?

I.R.I.E Mind is an open-access drop-in, with no referral process. Everyone is welcome, and we welcome everyone.
