City and Hackney Mind offers a range of counselling and psychotherapy services. There is currently a waiting period of 2 to 4 weeks for counselling sessions. Clients are not contacted immediately but will be notified in writing as soon as an appointment becomes available. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Update** 30/04/2010 Due to the high demand for counselling at City and Hackney Mind the waiting list is now closed until further notice, except to clients who fall within the Trauma & Refugee Project, and also the Sure Start Project (people with dependent children of 5 years or younger) Receipt of the Trauma and Refugee and Sure Start Referrals will be passed to the relevant section for reply within 10 working days.
