Shelter Housing Advice

Shelter holds a Housing Surgery at City and Hackney Mind on the first and third Friday of each month.

A Shelter advisor can give advice, information and assistance to City and Hackney Mind clients who are homeless or who are having any housing-related difficulties.

The advisor can give advice if:

  • The landlord wants you out.
  • You have rent or mortgage arrears.
  • You are fleeing violence.
  • Your home is unfit to live in.
  • You are being harassed.
  • You can't live with your partner any more.
  • You are having housing benefit problems.
