The Great British Duck Race – Sunday 6 September 2009

In 2009 the Great British Duck Race is aiming to break a world record, having 175,000 rubber ducks take to the waterways of London for a 1km race!  For £2 per duck, you can ‘adopt’ as many ducks as you like in aid of City and Hackney Mind!  The ‘owner’ of the winning duck will receive £10,000 and the 30 runners up will also receive amazing prizes – so what are you waiting for?

The British Designer Sale - Tuesday 15 September 2009 and Tuesday 24 November 2009

Held at Chelsea Town Hall in London, The British Designer Sale is an exclusive, members only event, where top designers including Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Armani and Sonia Rykiel (to name but a few) sell off samples and end of line pieces at a 50 – 80% discount.  The British Designer Sale has very kindly donated a number of places for the premier evenings of their September and November sales to City and Hackney Mind.  We will be selling these limited tickets on a first come first served basis to our supporters.  If you love to shop and want to get your hands on a designer bargain, don’t delay!
